About the NJVA
North Jersey Vascular Association (NJVA) is a non-profit organization based in North Jersey that is dedicated to providing affordable continuing medical education credits to vascular sonographers.
The chief mission of the NJVA is to develop and organize effective educational conferences that meet the needs of the medical disciplines utilizing vascular ultrasound. At the NJVA we need to utilize many different skills and talents from volunteers and supporters to meet our goals. By volunteering to work with the NJVA you can help us with your organizational and leadership skills or discover and develop those skills, like public speaking, that you didn’t know you had!
Presently, we organize two conferences annually that each award five CMEs recognized by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medicine Sonography (ARDMS) and Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) organizations as fulfilling certification requirements for sonographers credentialed by those respective groups.
Our Mission
To provide educational programs from which vascular ultrasound professionals can improve their knowledge and skills in everyday clinical and diagnostic imaging and maintain their professional certification requirements;
To improve the quality of vascular ultrasound scans performed which will promote increased accuracy in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions;
To cooperate with other national and related ultrasound societies to promote uniformity and standardization for the use of diagnostic ultrasonography;
To inform vascular technologists of the technological and scientific advancements in the field of vascular medicine and vascular surgery as it relates to diagnostic ultrasound.

Membership
NJVA membership is free and allows you to participate in any of the training conferences to earn CMEs. Members must register for each event and purchase a ticket.
